The Sofina Kristallglas crystal collection is produced by hand only; each piece is cut, engraved and polished combining the masterly skill of the glass crafts-person and the well known contemporary SOFINA designs. A wooden mold called the crystal chamber is shaped into the glass atelier. The crystal glass is colored or worked by the glass finisher into its crystal form. Next the faceting by the glass cutter is performed. By engraving the designs in the finishing step the glasses, carafes, vases and lanterns transform to beautiful, unique artworks.
